Francisco Lopez
Francisco Lopez, originally from Mexico, has a deep passion for Friesians and Pintos and is drawn to their elegance and versatility. He runs Rancho Cielo Azul in Gilroy, California, where he breeds and trains high-quality Pinto horses for dressage. The ranch is home to Job BP98, an approved Barock Pinto stallion, and Lobo FB44, a BPS approved Friesian stallion, both known for their exceptional movement and temperaments.
In addition to his work with horses, Francisco helps connect Spanish-speaking equestrian communities through translation. As a devoted father of three, he values family above all else and is committed to promoting Friesians and Barock Pintos while producing athletic, well-rounded horses.
Francisco plays a crucial role in connecting our organization with the Spanish-speaking community and acting as the BPANA representative for Mexico. We are so thankful to have Francisco with his Barock Pinto expertise on our Board of Directors!
