Sharon Bechler
Sharon has spent her life dedicated to both her family and her passion for horses. Married with two children, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, Sharon's love for horses is a family affair. From an early age, she was captivated by horses and riding and began working with horses at just 10 years old. Over the past 60 years, Sharon has trained and bred a wide variety of horses, focusing on endurance racing since 1987.
Sharon and her family established Windhorse Mountain Equine, where they bred and trained Polish Arabians and 7/8 Arabian Pintos. They also breed Andalusian horses, owning two ANCCE-approved stallions. Sharon’s deep love for Friesians led her to develop a herd of 14 Friesians and purchase the remarkable Bontfire XX06, to continue his legacy in the Barock Pinto world at their ranch.
Balancing her professional career as a registered nurse, with 44 years of experience in nursing and hospital administration and leadership, Sharon’s life is a testament to her dedication to her family, her community and her horses. Together, they contribute to the Barock Pinto community, striving to breed healthy, high-quality horses.
