Who?
Barock Pinto Horses and other horses being registered in the Barock Pinto Studbook and inspected by the BPS. Friesians, including B Book 1 & 2 Friesian horses and all breeds welcome. Pinto coloring is not a requirement for registration. There are several different books that horses can be registered within the BPS depending on their breed and color. Spectators
Spectators are welcome admission is free !
Jury
The Barock Pinto Jury is making the long journey from the Netherlands to inspect our horses and educate us. We are fortunate to welcome the esteemed BPS Judges.
Judges Scores: please be sure to ask the judges questions when there is time during a break or after the event. The judges really want to help you understand what they saw and why they rated your horse the way they did.

Facility Fee
The Inspection Facility Fee is 200.00 per entry.
This includes:
1) use of the facility
2) one Inspection program
3) halter numbers
4) ribbons and awards
5) one lunch ticket
Registration At the Inspection
The Registration table will be located at the east side of covered arena. You will receive your Inspection halter numbers, Inspection Program and lunch tickets there. It will be open Friday afternoon from 2-5pm and again the morning of the inspection from 6-9 am. Please pick up your packets during these hours.
Required Items to mail with the Inspection Entry Form:
1) A Coggins test is a requirement for all adult horses entering the Inspection from out of the state of California. Please mail a copy of the coggins certificate with your Inspection Registration Form.
2) A copy of current vaccinations
3) Copies of Registration papers for your horse.
4 If horse is not currently registered with the BPS, mail copies of the registration papers for the horse(if available)sire and dam(if available) with the Inspection Entry form and completed BPS Horse Registration Forms.
5) BPANA Membership Application and membership fee if not currently a member of the BPANA
Class Schedule
Adult horses will be measured at 7:00 am outside the entrance of the covered arena. Please be prompt.
The planned schedule will be listed in your program and on the website.
Please pay close attention to the arena area regarding the class times and be at the arena ready to show your horse on time.
Presenting Stallions
All individuals handling stallions and assisting in the presentation of stallions MUST wear a protective helmet.This is a BPS requirement for all inspections and will be required at this inspection. Please keep a safe distance between stallions at all times and stay in the areas identified for horses.
Attire and Helmets
All individuals handling stallions and assisting in the presentation of stallions MUST wear a protective helmet.
Persons presenting a horse must wear a white shirt, grey tie and black trousers, white sneakers are desired.
Procedure for presenting foals
Foals will be led in a halter and lead rope next to their mother for the standing presentation and the walk on the triangle. The foals will show at liberty on the triangle, for the trot with the mother in hand. After the presentation in the triangle, the mother and foal will both shown at liberty in the arena.
Upgrade Fees
If your horse receives an upgrade, the BPS will invoice you for the upgrade fee. New registration papers will be sent after the fee is paid.

Parking
There is plenty of parking for automobiles and trucks with trailers. Please follow the signs and park only in designated areas. (see facility map)
Box Stall Reservations-Register Early!
Box stalls for overnight or daytime use are available at DG Bar Ranch for a fee of $100.00 per stall on a limited, first come first served basis. You may reserve stalls for your horses on the Inspection Entry form.
Veterinarian
There are several veterinary clinics closeby. if your horse requires veterinary care while here, there will be a list at the Registration Desk.
Exhibitor Designated Areas
Please follow directions for class gate entry and keep horses in exhibitor designated areas only to provide safe access to the spectator area, food truck and restrooms. (see attached map)
Food
There will be a lunch/food truck available to purchase snacks, drinks and food. One lunch ticket is provided with each entry.
Friday night pot luck
If you are staying overnight, there will be a pot luck Friday night at DG Bar Ranch. Spaghetti and garlic bread will be provided. Bring a side dish, salad or desert and join the fun! Bring your guitar, harmonica, accordion or whatever musical talent you have for a after dinner hootenanny!! Please rsvp to Sharon Bechler at 559 642-8004 or if you are planning on coming to dinner.

BP Inspection Documents to Mail-checklist
1.Completed and signed Inspection Entry Form with all fees
Please complete the entry form, sign it and pay fees with a credit card on this website or send a check with the entry.
2. Copies of Horse Registrations
If your horse is registered with the BPS or any other registry, please send copies of their registration with the entry form. If your horse is not registered but the dam and/or sire are registered please send a copy of their registration.
3. Completed BPS Horse Registration Form
If your horse has not been registered with the BPS, send completed horse registration form, signed by veterinarian if the horse is newly microchipped. All horses must be microchipped .
Hair for a DNA sample DOES NOT NEED TO BY PULLED BY THE VETERINARIAN. The judges will pull hair to go with the registration on the day of the inspection. The BPS will invoice the owner for registration fees. The BPS will mail new registration papers after the registration fee has been received by them.
4. Completed BPS Membership form with payment
Complete the BPS membership form and pay fee of $70.00 USD, with a credit card on this website or mail a check with the completed membership form if you are not currently a member of the BPS or the BPA-USA.
